Ergonomics for the Artificial Boothmate

We are a research partner with the Gent University of the project Ergonomics for the Artificial Boothmate (EABM). The project is funded by the European Commission (DG Interpretation).

The project aims at studying and designing the ergonomics of future CAI tools. The University of Ghent and the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz have initiated a survey among professional interpreters to analyze the UI and UX of the digital boothmate. We have conducted a large-scale experimental test with the DG Interpretation of the European Commission.

In this video, we describe what is an Artificial Boothmate.

The webpage of the project is available here.
